Dear Member,

Community is at the heart of everything we do in Dundalk Credit Union and protecting our community at this moment, is of the utmost importance.

In the interest of the wider community, our Members and Staff’s health and safety during this time, we will temporarily be putting measures in place within the office to ensure social distancing, which will include limiting the number of members accessing the office at any one time and restricting non-essential activities.

Temporary measures:

  • Counter services will be restricted to ensure social distancing for our members and staff’s safety. We encourage members to use our telephone service as much as possible.
  • Daily Cash withdrawal limit of €1,000 will apply. Withdrawals above this amount will be facilitated by Electronic Funds Transfer as normal.
  • For the moment, no new member applications will be taken to reduce the length of time, people spend in the office. We look forward to welcoming new members within the coming weeks.

With the evolving COVID-19 situation we are aware that this is a time of worry, concern and disruption. We’re here to help you and we will work with you in any way we can and we encourage to you contact us as soon as possible if you need advice or support. We have a range of solutions if you are facing financial difficulty and we will be flexible to your needs.

Member Questions:

“Do I need to come into the office to conduct a transaction?”

No, all transactions can be completed over the phone. This includes both loan repayments and loan applications. Over this short period – for the safety of all concerned – we would ask members to use this facility wherever possible. Please call us on 042 93 35489.

“Have you anything in place to look after our older members?”

Yes, every Friday we have an Older Member Only Early Opening – 8am-9am, this is to safeguard our older members and to allow them to carry out their business in smaller numbers.  Please be assured that all health & safety HSE guidelines are in place at Market Street – social distancing, sanitisers, etc.

“I am worried I won’t be able to meet my loan repayments. What should I do?”

We understand that a number of members may experience difficulties meeting their loan repayments with the outbreak of COVID-19. If this is a concern for you, please click here for information on how we can assist you.

“I am not registered for Online Services and I would like to carry out a transaction online. How do I do this?”

You can register here for Dundalk Credit Union’s Online Services. Please note that your PIN will be issued by SMS when your application has been processed by our staff.

“I would like to complete a transaction online and I am registered for Online Services. How do I do this?”

You can simply log in here.

“I am registered for Online Services but I can’t remember my login codes. How do I find these?”
