What safety measures are in place in Dundalk Credit Union?

We are adhering to all HSE COVID 19 Health & Safety guidelines for the safety of our staff and our members.  Our queuing system follows social distancing guidelines, our counters have safety glass for both staff and members, we have hand sanitiser on entry and exit and we are limiting the number of members allowed into the office at any one time.  We will continue to follow all government advice and restrictions until such a time as they are eased or eventually lifted.

What service measures are in place in Dundalk Credit Union?

  • Counter services will be restricted to ensure social distancing for our members and staff’s safety. We encourage members to use our telephone service as much as possible.
  • Daily Cash withdrawal limit of €1,000 will apply. Withdrawals above this amount will be facilitated by Electronic Funds Transfer as normal.
  • For the moment, no new member applications will be taken to reduce the length of time, people spend in the office. We look forward to welcoming new members within the coming weeks.

I would like to be able to access my account online at home?

You can by using CU Online, this gives you 24/7 access to your account, allowing you to transfer funds, see balances, set up recurring payments, etc. It is a simple process and can be started here. If you run into difficulties give us a call on 042-93 35489 and we will help you.

I am registered for CU Online but I can’t remember my login details.

Can I still apply for a loan during COVID 19 restrictions?

Yes, we are still operating as an essential service and are here for our members. You can now apply online from start to finish, from the application, uploading documents right through to the transfer of funds, subject to approval. Our Online Loan Application can be accessed here or you can call our FREEPHONE number 1800 8100 70.

You can also avail of a Covered Loan, borrow up to the amount you have in savings/shares and leave your savings/shares intact. A rainy day loan, without the rainfall. You can call our FREEPHONE number 1800 8100 70, you can complete the full application from the safety of your home.

Can I make a loan repayment over the phone?

Yes of course, simply call 042-93 354 89 and speak to one of our friendly team. You can pay using your Debit Card and we can help you set up a recurring payment from your debit card, if that suits you.

I am worried that I may not be able to meet my loan repayments, can I speak to someone?
