Community is at the heart of everything we do in Dundalk Credit Union and protecting our community at this moment, is of the utmost importance.

Dundalk Credit Union, in line with Government advice, encourage members in the interest of their own personal health and safety to, where possible, stay safe at home and contact our friendly team by phone on 042 93 35489 where they can conduct the full range of Credit Union services and related transactions.

Is Dundalk Credit Union open during Level 5?

Yes, as an essential service, our offices on Market Street and The Ramparts remain open, as normal, 6 days a week.   However, we are encouraging our members to use our Online and Phone services, when and where possible.

Can I apply for a loan during Level 5?

Yes, Loan applications can be made both online and over the phone – FREEPHONE 1800 8100 70.  Please note whilst numbers remain high nationally and following health & safety guidelines, we will not be taking loan applications in our offices.

We are aware that this is a time of disruption and unknowns. We’re here to help you and we will work with you in any way we can and we encourage to you contact us as soon as possible if you need advice or support. We have a range of solutions if you are facing financial difficulty and we will be flexible to your needs.

“Do I need to come into the office to conduct a transaction?”

“How do I apply for a loan?”

“Do you have priority hours for Older or Vulnerable People?”

Yes, we are prioritising those older and more vulnerable people in our community each morning from 9.30-10.30 am, and on Wednesday morning from 10 am -11 am.  We are asking, where possible, to keep these hours for those older or more vulnerable members within our wider community.

“I am worried I won’t be able to meet my loan repayments. What should I do?”

We understand that a number of members may experience difficulties meeting their loan repayments with the outbreak of COVID-19. If this is a concern for you, please click here for information on how we can assist you.

“I am not registered for Online Services and I would like to carry out a transaction online. How do I do this?”
