Carrick Aces Annual 5k

On March 22nd, we were delighted to partner once again with the Carrick Aces for the sixth annual Carrick Aces Credit Union 5K. The family event continues to be a highlight in the local calendar and a true celebration of community spirit.

The day began at 10am with a fun and energetic 2k family run. It was fantastic to see so many children and families taking part, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere from the very beginning. At 11am, the sold-out 5k race got underway, with a record-breaking 450 participants. The run continues to grow in popularity each year, attracting runners and walkers from near and far, all coming together to be part of this special occasion.

There was a brilliant buzz throughout the morning, with participants of all ages and abilities enjoying the experience. Many members of the Credit Union staff also laced up their runners to take part, adding to the strong sense of community and involvement.

Every participant received a commemorative year of the fire horse medal and event t-shirt, a well-earned reward and a great memento of the day.

We are delighted to support this event since its foundation and to see it go from strength to strength each year.
