Peer Education Programme 2023

Dundalk Credit Union is extremely proud to support the Peer Education Programme provided to secondary school students throughout Co. Louth.

Through the programme transition year students learn about drugs, alcohol and peer pressure, and how to make positive and informed choices. They then return to their schools and teach first year students all that they have learned.

The students will deliver a series of classes to first year’s students in their respective schools, discussing several related topics including self-esteem, peer pressure, smoking, alcohol, drug information and education. Empowering young people to make positive choices in their lives.

This programme is run in association with North Eastern Drug & Alcohol Task Force and Information & Education Programmes.
