Third Level Bursary

Dundalk Credit Union is delighted to offer our members a 2026  Academic Bursary Programme for members attending a full time third level course in the academic year 2026/2027.  There are ten third level bursary prizes available, valued at €1,000 each.

Closing date for entries is Friday 25th September 2026 at 5pm. T&C’s apply. 

Am I eligible to enter?

If you are an existing member, yes, you are.  Don’t worry though, if you are not currently a member you can join & enter on the same day.

Become a Member of Dundalk Credit Union

Anyone living, working or studying in Co. Louth or Co. Monaghan is eligible to become a member.

Terms & Conditions

  • The Bursary is valued at €1,000. Only one Bursary per winner will be awarded.
  • Applicants must be a member of Dundalk Credit Union Limited and there must be a minimum of €5 in the account.
  • Applicants must be attending a full time third level course in the academic year 2026/2027.
  • The Bursaries will be allocated by an Open Draw.
  • Payment will be made in two instalments or at the discretion of Dundalk Credit Union.
  • Payment of the Bursary is dependent on the student continuing their course in a Third Level Institution for the duration of the academic year, and confirmation of attendance from the institution will be required for Semester 1 and Semester 2.
  • Applicants/winners must be members of Dundalk Credit Union for the duration of the academic year.
  • A presentation will be made to the winning students. Photographs taken on this occasion may be published in local media, used for internal publication including displays within the Credit Union, AGM report, Dundalk Credit Union’s website, online marketing
  • The decision of the Board of Directors of Dundalk Credit Union Limited concerning the rules and changes to same or any matter arising from the Back to School Bursary will be final and not subject to appeal.
